Somewhere off the beaten path you will find peace of mind. One place is Monument Rocks, Kansas.

Eighty million years ago it was part of the Great Interior Seaway, a vast inland sea that divided the North American continent in two and home to sharks and aquatic dinosaurs, along with giant clams and mussels whose remains are found in its fossils. From 1865 until the completion of the transcontinental railroad, it was a stop on the Butterfield Overland Stagecoach route from Fort Riley to Denver.

Today, it is a quiet peaceful place along a dusty road, 25 miles south of Oakley, Kansas, and a few miles east of southbound Highway 83.

Enjoy a Stressless time at Monument Rocks, Kansas.
